No Data Connection

No internet connection? Follow these quick steps to check your eSIM and settings and get back online.

Not getting online with your GigSky plan? No worries. Try the steps below to get your connection back up and running.

Check your device and eSIM

Before troubleshooting, make sure:

  • Your device is switched on and running the latest software update available for your iOS, Android, or other supported device.

  • Your GigSky eSIM is installed and turned on.

  • Your GigSky eSIM is selected as the line used for mobile data.

Check your mobile data settings

First, open the mobile data settings for your GigSky eSIM.

iPhone

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap Cellular.

  3. Tap your GigSky eSIM.

  4. Make sure Mobile Data and Data Roaming are turned on.

  5. Check that the APN is set to gigsky.

Android

The names of these settings may vary slightly depending on your device.

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap Network & internet. On Samsung devices, tap Connections.

  3. Tap Mobile network. Depending on your device, this may appear as Mobile data or SIM & network.

  4. Select your GigSky eSIM.

  5. Make sure Mobile Data and Data Roaming are turned on.

  6. Check that the APN is set to gigsky.

Important: Enter the APN exactly as gigsky, all lowercase, with no quotation marks or spaces.

Restart and test your connection

  1. Restart your device.

  2. Wait a few minutes for the device to reconnect to the network.

  3. Turn Wi-Fi off.

  4. Open a web browser and try loading a website.

If the website loads, your GigSky data connection is working.

Still can't connect?

If you're still unable to access the internet, contact GigSky support with the following information:

  • The email address linked to your GigSky account

  • Your exact location, including GPS coordinates

  • Your device make and model

  • A screenshot or description of your cellular data settings

  • A brief description of the issue you're experiencing

Providing these details upfront helps our Support team investigate the issue more quickly.
