Managing Devices and eSIMs

Switching devices? Learn how to set up GigSky on a new device and manage your eSIM.

You can use the same GigSky account on multiple phones or tablets. However, each device needs its own GigSky eSIM and data plan.

Set up GigSky on a new device

Got a new phone or tablet? Follow these steps to get GigSky set up:

  1. Check your device. Make sure it is carrier-unlocked and supports eSIM.

  2. Install the GigSky app on your new device and sign in with your existing GigSky account.

  3. Select your destination and data plan.

  4. During checkout, go to the order summary and select New eSIM Device as the target device.

  5. Complete your purchase and follow the on-screen instructions to install your new eSIM.

Can I transfer my eSIM to another device?

No. GigSky eSIMs can't be transferred from one device to another.

If you've purchased a new device and won't be using your previous device anymore, contact GigSky Support to request a new eSIM for your new device.

Important: Before contacting Support, make sure you no longer plan to use the eSIM on your old device. If you still want to use your old phone, we can't transfer or reissue its eSIM for another device.

Bought a plan for the wrong device?

If you purchased a plan for the wrong device, you can request a self-refund through the GigSky app or web app.

Once your refund is processed:

  1. Purchase the plan again.

  2. During checkout, select the correct Target Device.

  3. Follow the prompts to install the eSIM on your new device.
