Before you travel
Before your trip, we recommend completing a few simple steps to ensure you're ready to connect when you arrive.
Redeem your Visa Benefit in the GigSky app.
Install your GigSky eSIM.
Keep the GigSky eSIM turned off until you're ready to use it.
If your device requires it, enable Data Roaming for the GigSky eSIM.
Tip: Install your eSIM before you travel while you have a reliable internet connection.
When you arrive
Once you reach a destination covered by your Visa plan:
Turn on your GigSky eSIM.
Select GigSky as your mobile data line.
Make sure Data Roaming is enabled for the GigSky eSIM.
If required, set the APN to gigsky.
Your plan will activate automatically when your device connects to a supported network in an eligible destination.
Important to know
Your Visa plan only activates in destinations covered by your redeemed benefit.
Coverage in your home country is not included.
Complimentary Visa benefits are not valid for Cruise, Inflight, or Offshore connectivity.
If you're traveling on a cruise, you can still use your eligible Visa discount toward the purchase of a GigSky Cruise plan.
