Unlimited data plans – FAQs

Learn how GigSky Unlimited Plans work, including high-speed data limits and daily speed resets.

GigSky Unlimited Plans let you stay connected throughout your plan's validity period. If your daily data usage reaches the fair-use threshold, your data speed may be temporarily reduced.

What does “unlimited” mean?

Unlimited means you’ll have mobile data for the full number of days in your plan, even after you use your high-speed data allowance.

  • A 7-day Unlimited Plan provides data access for 7 days.

  • A 15-day Unlimited Plan provides data access for 15 days.

Like other eSIM providers, GigSky has a high-speed data threshold. This is the amount of data you can use at the highest available speed.

If you reach that threshold, you won’t lose your connection or run out of data. Your data will simply slow down for a short period. Once your high-speed data resets, you can use data at higher speeds again.

When will my data speed be reduced?

GigSky uses a fair-use policy to help ensure network capacity remains available for all customers.

Your data speed may be reduced when your daily usage exceeds the 3.5 GB high-speed allowance. Activities that use a lot of data, such as:

  • Video streaming

  • Online gaming

  • Large file sharing

Even with reduced speeds, you can continue using lower-bandwidth services such as email and VoIP voice calls.

When will my full speed return?

Your high-speed data resets every 24 hours from the time your plan was activated.

For example, if your plan was activated at 7:00 AM, your full data speed will be restored at 7:00 AM the following day.

This 24-hour reset continues throughout your plan's validity period.
