Can I Extend My Plan?

Most GigSky data plans cannot be extended once they have been activated.

Your plan remains active until its scheduled expiration date, even if you're not using it.

Your plan starts when your GigSky eSIM first connects to a supported network in a destination covered by your plan.

Turn GigSky off after installation.
 You can enable it anytime before you travel.

You can install your GigSky eSIM before your trip and leave it turned on. When you arrive at a destination covered by your plan, your eSIM will automatically connect to an available local network, so you don't need to manually activate it when you land.

If your cruise plan includes the country you're departing from, we recommend installing your eSIM before your trip but keeping it turned off until you're onboard and ready to use it.

For example, if you're departing from the U.S. with an Americas & Caribbean cruise plan that includes the U.S., turning on your GigSky eSIM before boarding could cause it to connect to a supported network and start your plan earlier than you intended.
